When a site does not have a logo, a customer with an Admin role for the site will be able to upload the site logo through a pop up which appears on login. Customers will also be able to update an existing logo using an edit icon on the existing logo when on the home page.

The interface to upload, crop and save the new logo has also been updated. The new style is closely aligned with the logo or profile upload interfaces of other sites, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, and is not designed as a logo editing tool. If the file selected is large you will need to zoom out to fit the logo in the available box, or you will need to select a smaller file (see below for troubleshooting).

How To

For Customers:

When a site does not have a logo because it is a newly created site, the new process is as follows:

1. Log into the newly created site as an Admin.

2. You will get a pop up asking for a logo to be uploaded.

3. Upload the logo, and you will be prompted to crop the logo. You may have to zoom out using the slider at the bottom if the file is large. If the file is too large, see troubleshooting below.

4. When you select the button ‘Crop & upload image’ there will be a pop up to tell you the upload was successful, and the new logo will appear on the site.

5. If you close the pop up, the next user with an Admin role will be prompted.

When a site has a logo that needs to be updated, the new process is as follows:

1. Log into the site as an Admin and ensure you are on the home page.

2. Hover your mouse over the existing logo in the top left corner of the page.

3. Click the edit icon that appears. 

4. Follow the above steps from 3. 

Troubleshooting

You may have trouble uploading a logo if it is too small or too large. The recommended logo dimensions are approximately 400px x 400px. A logo that is a different size, or not square, can be resized (made smaller or larger) using third party software, such as Photoshop (paid), GIMP (free), Affinity (paid), Paint (Windows only), Photos (Windows only).
