How to add managers and create their team

A user of The Happiness Index platform can be set up with a ‘Manager’ role which will allow them to see and manage their own team in the Platform.

Manager empowerment: Managers in an organisation can manage their team on the platform by:

a. Being able to send surveys

b. Seeing their people data

c. Viewing the insights for their team

How does a manager need to be set up on the platform?

A manager must have a user profile with the role of Manager. Having a user profile will allow them to access the platform.

How are managers assigned?

A manager is assigned to each voter’s profile using the manager’s email address. This can be done through a people upload or manual edit.

What if I try to assign a manager but they don't exist as a user?

If a manager is assigned during a people upload and doesn't exist as a user, a placeholder profile will be created that must be completed. If a manager is assigned manually a prompt will show asking you to create a profile.
